Membership terms

These are the terms for membership of The Water Bar. They are run by Life 2.0 L.L.C - FZ, trading as The Water Bar.

By starting a membership you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, write to gaia@inspiredbeingco.com before you join.

The Morning Party subscription by The Water Bar, $1 a month.

• Entry to The Morning Party, by booking.
• Get Active, the sail and the after party.
• Water included.

Awaken Sleep Lab, $49 a month, added to The Morning Party subscription.

• All of the above.
• Ice baths and massage, by timed slot.
• Tea ceremonies, when available.
• These extras are at Sunday events.

With Awaken Sleep Lab your membership is $50 a month in total: the $1 and the $49 together, on one bill and one date.

Awaken Sleep Lab is for women. When you add it, you confirm you are a woman. If it was added by mistake, or is not right for you, tell us and we refund it in full.

You pay monthly, on the day you joined, until you cancel. With Awaken Sleep Lab the $1 and the $49 are one bill on one date, $50 a month in total.

Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see your card details. The page Stripe shows you is for your card details and your invoices; you add, remove and cancel in the Account tab of the app.

You can cancel any time from the Account tab in the app. Cancelling ends your whole membership, Awaken Sleep Lab included.

Your membership then runs to the end of the month you have paid for. After that it stops and you are not charged again. Until then you keep everything, and the Account tab tells you how many days are left.

If you change your mind before that day, you can resubscribe in the Account tab. You are not charged again that day, and your next bill stays on its usual date.

Adding Awaken Sleep Lab is charged straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of your month, which the app shows you before you confirm. From your next bill it is $50 a month on one bill.

Removing Awaken Sleep Lab keeps it until the end of the month you have paid for. There is no refund for that month. After that your bill returns to $1 a month.

Subscriptions are non-refundable once bought. If you cancel, your membership runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

• You need a booking to come. Your membership alone does not hold a place.
• Places are limited.
• You can hold one ice bath slot and one massage slot each morning.
• If you cannot come, cancel before the start so someone else can have your place.

Our events are alcohol free. Please do not bring alcohol.

Be kind. Respect the crew, the other guests and the space. Everyone is here to feel good.

We may ask someone to leave if they put others at risk or make them feel unwelcome.

• Exercise and ice baths are done at your own risk.
• If you are not sure they are right for you, speak to a doctor first.
• Do not use the ice bath if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, unless a doctor has said it is fine.
• Follow the crew's instructions, always.

Drinks are paid for in the app, during a morning you have booked. The bar does not take payment. A drink paid for in the app does not expire: show your pass at the bar to collect it. Drinks are not part of your membership. Water is included. If something is wrong with a drink you bought in the app, tell the crew at the bar or write to us, and the admin can refund it to your card. Memberships are not refunded.

• Drink notes: what you tell the sun about the drinks, including how you felt, is kept on your account so he can suggest what you'll enjoy. The brands whose drinks we serve see it as totals and anonymous quotes, never your name. You can see and delete your notes on Account.

The hydration coach in the app is a guide only. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor.

• It is only for people who are 18 or over, are not taking any medication, do not have any medical condition, and are not pregnant or breastfeeding. By ticking the box you confirm that all of this is true for you. If any of it is not, please ask your doctor instead.
• Its amounts come from general formulas and from what you tell it. They are estimates for a healthy adult, and you use them at your own risk.
• If you feel unwell, stop, rest somewhere cool and get medical help.
• By ticking the box you also agree that what you enter, without your name, email or phone number, is kept for up to 90 days and used to improve the coach, and that we may tell our drink partners, in totals only, which drinks people prefer. Nothing that identifies you is shared.
• If you talk to the assistant (the mic button in his chat), what you say is turned into words by our speech service (Deepgram) as you speak, and his replies are read out by it. The recording itself is not kept, and it is not used to train their models; the words are kept as above.
• It is free, two coaching conversations a day and four on a day with a morning on, and we may change or stop it.

We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes too. If you carry on with your membership after a change, you accept the new terms.
